IsoAcoustics Introduces Aperta Aluminum Stands for Acoustic Isolation of Studio Monitors

December 15 2014, 04:00
IsoAcoustics stands are one of the industry’s recent success stories, recognized by both speaker and studio monitor manufacturers but also increasingly by the audio engineering community. All IsoAcoustics stands are built with a unique, patented isolation technology that allows speakers to float in free space, resulting in clear uncolored sound. The company’s solutions provide superior acoustic isolation and enhance the sound clarity of virtually all speakers and amplification systems, including monitors for the professional studio and sound reinforcement, home theatre systems, musical instrument amplifiers, subwoofers and large monitors.

Now, the Toronto, Ontario, company introduced Aperta, a stylish and sleek new line of sculpted aluminum acoustic isolation stands designed for medium-sized professional studio monitors and speakers. According to IsoAcoustics, Aperta, <á-pair-tah,> the Italian word for “open,” describes the stands’ stylized design that creates open space and compliments its surroundings, as well as the spatial openness in sound and the crystal clarity in music that they deliver.

“The artistically designed Aperta stands raise the bar to set a new standard for remarkable acoustic isolation and performance.  As with all IsoAcoustics award-winning isolation stands, Aperta provides an aesthetically pleasing and cost-effective means to markedly enhance the sound clarity and transparency of medium sized speakers, using the patented “floating design” that this company has become famous for,” states the announcement.

The new IsoAcoustics Aperta stands feature a unique integrated tilt adjustment that enables the user to dial-in the optimum tilt angle, with fine gradation markings provided to ensure the precision of the angle adjustments. With an overall size of 6.1”(w) x 7.5”(d), the Aperta stands complement medium size studio monitors and speakers weighing up to 35 lbs.

“IsoAcoustics continues to achieve new levels of design and performance in isolation,” says Dave Morrison, CEO of IsoAcoustics, “We are very pleased to introduce the stylish new Aperta to the professional marketplace.”

Packaged as a pair, the Aperta stands are available in both black and aluminum. Retail price for the Aperta pair is $240 U.S. The new Aperta, as well as the entire line of IsoAcoustics’ acoustic isolation stands will be presented during the NAMM Show at the Anaheim Convention Center, January 22-25, 2015 ((booth 6844, Hall A).
