AudioControl Launches the Maestro M8 Surround Theater Preamplifier With 4K Ultra HD Processing

U.S. based designer and manufacturer AudioControl, announced that they have begun shipping their new Maestro M8 surround-sound pre-amp processor with 4K Ultra HD processing. This new theater processor intended to deliver audio and video for home theaters and media rooms across a whole house, features multiple inputs for HDMI and digital sources, including balanced audio inputs and outputs. For unprecedented flexibility, the Maestro M8 is already equipped with a port that allows for the use of an optional HDBaseT signal extender for extending HDMI signals via standard CAT-5 cabling to remote mounted display devices.

The Maestro M8 was designed to not only deliver a superior audio and video experience but also to be installer friendly for custom installation applications .To that end, it features 4K Ultra HD signal pass-through and upscaling capabilities; seven HDMI inputs and dual HDMI outputs – ARC (Audio Return Channel) Compatible; proprietary room correction with signal alignment, level and equalization – assignable on a per source basis; and Dolby Volume technology for superior balance.

The new Maestro M8 processor is also compatible with leading control systems including Savant, Crestron, Control 4 and RTI and is custom install control ready with Ethernet, RS232, 12 volt trigger and IR control options. AudioControl iOS Control App available free on the iTunes Store and a programmable remote control provided. AudioControl also offers a 5-year warranty program.

The Maestro M8 is now shipping and available through AudioControl’s worldwide dealer network and will be one of the highlights at this year’s 2014 CEDIA Expo in Denver.
