Atelier Vision Corporation (ATV) will be exhibiting for the first time internationally at the 2015 Frankfurt Musikmesse/Prolight+Sound exhibition. Founded in 2014 by the respected Japanese entrepreneur and architect of Roland Corporation, Ikutaro Kakehashi, ATV will be introducing itself and some of its unique concepts to exhibition attendees, press and future sales partners throughout the show.

ATV’s audio and video product lines will be focusing on applications in the broadcast, entertainment, networking, corporate AV, events, installation, and digital signage markets internationally. For the MI arm of the business, the company will focus on electronic products in the most important segments: drums, percussion, keyboards, and guitar. The aim is to create products that will improve musicians’ performance.

Atelier Vision’s production and twin R&D departments have been located in Japan from the company’s inception (the Hamamatsu R&D centre handles MI products, while the Matsumoto centre looks after AV). A European office was planned to handle sales and marketing for the EMEA region, headed by Paulo Caius, former President of Roland Iberia. ATV Europe, a 50/50 partnership between Caius and Kakehashi, was founded in Porto, Portugal, and will shortly be transferring operations to Eindhoven in the Netherlands.

“The last five years has seen vast changes in the technologies that power the AV and MI markets” comments Paulo Caius “In addition, consumers in these markets are now better-informed and more interconnected than ever, and demand companies whose products and services meet their ever-rising expectations. Our experience taught us that AV and MI products need to be better, as do the companies that make them. That’s what we had in mind when we founded ATV.”

ATV will be selling its products worldwide, and is establishing a network of sales partners representing all territories.

Atelier Vision Corporation (ATV) was founded on July 1st, 2014 by entrepreneur, Grammy-winner, creator of MIDI and Roland Corporation founder, Ikutaro Kakehashi. The company has its headquarters in Hamamatsu, Japan.
