Solid State Logic Adds Production Plug-ins to its SSL 2 Audio Interfaces

From November 1st to December 31st, Solid State Logic is providing an expanded SSL Production Pack along with all new purchases of its professional personal studio interfaces, SSL 2 and SSL 2+. The addition of SSL’s premium FlexVerb and X-comp Native plug-ins imparts an unmistakable studio-quality polish alongside SSL mix favorites VocalStrip 2 and Drumstrip, along with an array of leading third-party DAW software and samples.

The market for pro audio products in professional and home studio applications posted global revenues of more than US$1.2 billion for 2018, an increase of over 6%, according to the industry report. Covering mixers, microphones, audio interfaces, studio monitors and professional headphones, the report is the first of its kind, and describes continued growth in volume and value out to 2023, at a CAGR of 9.7% and 6.5% respectively.

M-Audio’s reputation in audio interfaces remains strong given the long history of affordable, robust and versatile devices introduced by the brand over the years. Now, M-Audio is part of InMusic Brands and it certainly is reassuring to see the announcement that their new M-Track C-Series 2X2 and 2X2M high-performance 24-bit/192kHz audio interfaces are available. Both units also feature M-Audio’s new Crystal preamps and have updated A/D converters.
