Digital Audio Denmark Introduces AX Center ThunderCore Audio Interface

DAD just announced a new Thunderbolt 3 audio interface for studios, location recording setups or touring rigs. The new AX Center is a dedicated Thunderbolt modular audio interface with dual microphone and instrument inputs, dual headphones and monitors outputs, built-in PRO|MON monitor control with speaker EQ, and two slots for DAD expansion cards. It comes with 256 channels via Thunderbolt, 256 Dante I/O channels, up to 192 MADI I/O channels and 16 ADAT channels, as well as onboard summing and processing.

Merging+Anubis is now the world’s first audio interface and controller to run Sonarworks' SoundID Reference correction software without a computer, with the lowest possible latency, right out of the box. Launched already three years ago, the powerful Anubis continues to show the power of integration and being open to third party add-ons. Sonarworks and Merging Technologies have partnered up to simplify the music production process with the first hardware to enable SoundID Reference correction outside of a computer.

Merging Technologies announced a new ambitious concept, which promises to expand significantly the whole audio-over-IP ecosystem in multiple applications, from the studio to live performance and recording. Avid announced the availability of the Pro Tools MTRX SPQ Speaker Processing Card for speaker calibration and bass management. Built for the Pro Tools MTRX audio interface, the SPQ speaker processing option card enables complete control of monitoring systems and enables users to fine tune their mixing environment for a consistent experience across mono, stereo and immersive formats. The card offers precise control to manage bass and EQ monitors, and cue signals for the most challenging music and audio post-production projects.

PreSonus launched its new Studio 192 USB 3.0 Audio Interface and Studio Command Center. This new 26 x 32 interface records at up to 192 kHz and combines eight digitally controlled XMAX Class A solid-state mic preamps and premium Burr-Brown converters with the company’s StudioLive Fat Channel signal processing.
