Bluesound Professional, the distributed audio ecosystem for commercial spaces from Lenbrook, is now shipping its highly anticipated ceiling speakers originally unveiled at InfoComm 2023. The new Bluesound BCS250 and BCS300 are passive and active PoE ceiling speakers that can be installed as in-ceiling speakers or with an optional pendant speaker conversion package, offering even more flexibility for installers.

I returned from Barcelona, Spain, after five exhausting days, which were not easy for anyone in the audio industry who was forced to fly from the NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA directly to Europe. I wrote this First Impressions ISE 2024 report in an effort to summarize this extremely well organized and successful event - celebrating the show's 20th anniversary. Neumann has announced the release of the KH 120 II studio monitors. Building upon the success of its predecessors, Neumann says the KH 120 II design offers improvements in all acoustic parameters for deeper bass, higher SPL capability, and increased resolution. In addition, its internal DSP engine allows for phase linear crossovers and room correction via Neumann’s MA 1 Automatic Alignment.

Genelec has further expanded its Smart IP family of installation loudspeaker systems with the introduction of a super compact 4410 loudspeaker model and a new Smart IP Controller app. The 4410 joins the existing 4420 and 4430 Smart IP speakers, while the free Controller app provides the end user with instant and intuitive control of key loudspeaker system functions including mute, volume control and power on/off, plus overall zone control.
