Rembrandt Laboratories Patent-Pending Home Speaker Will Make You Cry

Rembrandt Laboratories is promoting its patent-pending speaker design Model V with the line "New Audio Technology With Sound So Beautiful, It Moves Listeners to Tears of Joy," claiming a level of realism that feels like the artist is in the room. Effectively, the outside of the Model V, in stained poplar tone wood, looks like one those early tube radios, but there's nothing vintage inside this active speaker, using a distributed mode planar driver with proprietary multiple internal tuned resonate chambers and bass reflex port.

The Los Angeles & Orange County Audio Society and Marine Presson have confirmed a new location for the second edition of the Los Angeles Audio Show (LAAS). The West Coast event will move to the Hilton Irvine, the one just close to John Wayne Airport, Orange County (SNA), and will take place June 8 to 10, Friday to Sunday, as the tradition of consumer show dictates. With this second edition, LAAS should consolidate its position replacing the former T.H.E. Show.

T.H.E. Show is a weekend of fun & entertainment for music & audio enthusiasts. Hundreds of audio manufacturers from around the world will participate and, as usual, the show is complemented with a selection of LA’s premier food trucks and live musical performances at T.H.E. Lounge. This will be the first edition since the passing of Richard Beers, the show’s founder - a special occasion to celebrate his life and his commitment to T.H.E. Show.

THE Home Entertainment Show has announced sweeping changes for T.H.E. Show Newport. T.H.E. Show Newport will now be held at The Hotel Irvine in Irvine, California, Friday-Sunday, May 29-31, 2015. T.H.E. Show Las Vegas, usually scheduled for January will be put on hiatus after 16 years. The promoters explain “all of T.H.E. Show’s resources and time will be spent making 2015 a game-changer and spectacular event.”
