PMC Launches Multichannel Amp For Immersive Audio Applications

UK manufacturer PMC has launched a new multichannel amplifier specifically designed to meet the needs of the professional immersive audio and home cinema markets requiring multiple speakers. Designed for PMC by British manufacturer Linea Research, the eight-channel 750-8 is able to power any passive PMC speaker, offering a massive power output of 750 watts per channel, or 1,500 watts per channel when bridged and configured as a four-channel amplifier.

While I visited the exhibits at the excellent Colorado Convention Center during the 2019 CEDIA Expo in Denver, I was frequently asked about my impressions of the show - but often it was as if people were asking me to validate their own negative impressions - because "this industry has seen better days...", and "the show is smaller than ever." Located in Highland Park, Los Angeles and Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York, the demo studios add a substantial new dimension to PMC’s US presence, which already includes demo facilities in Nashville and Irvine.
