Beyma Launches Near and Mid Field High End Transducer Series

Over the past two years, Acustica Beyma expanded its R&D efforts significantly. The results are now visible as Beyma introduced a completely new family of outstanding drivers at ISE 2022. Beyma's R&D department used the latest simulation tools and a rigorous material selection process to create a new set of transducers that crossover from pure professional audio applications into the studio and high end world. A significant new range of woofers and tweeters with multiple voicing options that will appeal to speaker designers.

After releasing its 1000 Series in-wall / in-ceiling loudspeaker in January 2021, French brand Focal now unveiled the On Wall 300 line. Attentive to all uses and listening needs, Focal has thought out and designed the new On Wall 301 and On Wall 302 loudspeakers for both stereo and home theater use, offering high-quality products that can be installed on a stand or fixed into the wall.

Surprising visitors at Musikmesse 2017, French manufacturer Focal introduced a completely new monitor series as part of its expanding Focal Professional catalogue. Comprising three progressive sized nearfield monitors - Shape 40, Shape 50 and Shape 65 - the series is placed above the affordable CMS and Alpha series, introducing interesting component and design choices, including passive radiators, in the best tradition of its SM series monitors.

One of the highlights of CanJam NYC 2017 was the unveiling of a new trio of in-ear monitors from Periodic Audio, a new company led by a seasoned engineering team led by Daniel Wiggins, and industrial designer Mike Kim, both with a vast experience in consumer electronics for a wide variety of brands. The first products from Periodic Audio are proprietary designs using beryllium, titanium and magnesium/aluminum alloy, with precisely tuned enclosures to achieve best-in-class performance.

Leading French speaker and headphone manufacturer Focal unveiled it’s newest line of three premium headphones; Utopia, Elear and Listen. The result of over 35 years of development and manufacturing of loudspeakers, Focal’s new high-end headphones include the Utopia Reference Open-back headphones, using the first Beryllium driver especially designed for such applications. Other models include the Elear open-back headphones and Listen over-the-ear for the on-the-go user.
