Trinnov New WaveForming Design Tool Recommends Room Layout to Optimize Sound Performance

Trinnov Audio, the French manufacturer of advanced audio processors for home theater, high-end audio, and commercial cinemas, announced the launch of a design tool for its WaveForming technology. This online tool simplifies the process of specifying room layouts, tailored to optimize all the potential of the WaveForming technology and making life easier for dealers, distributors, enthusiasts and industry professionals.

The new ST-AudioWeaver free development tool from STMicroelectronics streamlines and simplifies development of embedded audio applications for richer user interfaces in smart devices using 32-bit ARM Cortex-M based STM32 microcontrollers. Developed in cooperation with DSP Concepts, creator of the Audio Weaver design suite, the tool contains library of 160 audio algorithms, with GUI for configuring and fine-tuning.

Analog Devices announced the addition of ADSP-SC57x and ADSP-2157x processors to its growing series of single-chip multicore SHARC processors. By combining ADI’s SHARC technology with ARM Cortex-A5 system control capability, the series provides a high performance, low cost solution for complex applications such as Dolby Atmos, DTS:X or active noise cancellation with performance headroom remaining for further audio post-processing. Target applications include automotive premium audio, consumer and pro-audio, and industrial systems that require high floating-point performance.
