InfoComm 2024 Heads to Las Vegas in June and Registration Is Officially Open

InfoComm 2024, the largest trade show focused on professional audiovisual technologies in North America is set for June 8-14 (exhibits 12-14) at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Held every two years in Orlando, FL and Las Vegas, NV, InfoComm is produced by the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA), and currently ranks as the 39th largest trade show in the United States.

InfoComm 2020, originally scheduled to take place in Las Vegas in June, was cancelled and quickly converted into an online happening like so many other important industry trade shows affected by the global pandemic. Produced by the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA), InfoComm is the largest technology exhibition and conference in North America focused on the pro AV industry. The show is now scheduled to take place June 16-18, 2021 (Saturday-Friday) at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

The global pro AV industry reached a peak of $259 billion in 2019. Due to the global pandemic, the industry is expected to decline to $239 billion in 2020, according to the new 2020 AV Industry Outlook and Trends Analysis (IOTA) produced by AVIXA, the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association. IOTA shows the industry recovering back its pre-COVID levels in 2022 before growing to $315 billion in 2025. This represents a 5.8% five-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) and will drive industry revenue $56 billion beyond its 2019 level.

AVIXA, the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association, will open its virtual show InfoComm 2020 Connected, taking place June 16-18. The online event and virtual show will gather thought leaders from an array of pro AV disciplines representing all corners of the globe to lead conversations on the opportunities and challenges facing the industry. The event will represent a daring initiative from AVIXA to replace the physical show, replacing it with online showcases and a stronger focus on education presentations.

AVIXA, the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association, announced the release of its newest standard, Rack Building for Audiovisual Systems (F502.01:2018), which details the requirements for integrating AV systems into racks by providing a process for consistent assembly, mounting, and cable management. This standard covers the fundamental elements of building a reliable AV equipment rack, including planning, lacing, location, and separation of signal and power cables for cable management.

The professional audiovisual industry will grow from $186 billion in 2018 to $230 billion by 2023, according to updated forecasts in the new 2018 AV Industry Outlook and Trends Analysis (IOTA) Global Summary produced by AVIXA, the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association. This report examines the forces driving growth, from macroeconomic factors to technology trends to vertical market demands, on a global scale.

InfoComm International has changed its name to the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA). The change was made to reflect a broadening mission to be an industry hub, while also acting as a catalyst for market growth beyond what has been considered traditionally as professional AV. Its North America show, June 2-8 in Las Vegas, will continue to operate under the InfoComm name.
