Nuvoton ICs with Integrated Klippel Controlled Sound - New Possibilities for Speaker Design

What more could speaker system designers want? How about not just to protect the speaker from overload, but enable the speaker to play louder with reduced bass distortion? The Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) announced that, thanks to escalating adoption by OEMs and chipmakers, the DisplayPort standard is continuing to gain momentum in the mobile consumer electronics space. Much of this recent growth stems from adoption of the DisplayPort Alternate Mode (“Alt Mode”) that is supported by dozens of commercially available products to date using the new USB Type-C connector.

QSC called its demonstration at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) show, "a glimpse into the future of Audio, Video and Control Processing". The demonstration was an industry-first preview, running existing Q-SYS software on standard Dell server hardware, highlighting the shift from stand-alone single-purpose proprietary DSP hardware to a highly scalable, standards-based IT platform and architecture. During ISE 2017, QSC also introduced a new Q-SYS processor and peripherals.
