BluOS 3.14 Expands Music Streaming Services, Integration Features, and Adds Radio Paradise in MQA

With the release of version 3.14, Lenbrook's premium multi-room music management platform BluOS introduced a number of important enhancements for both the user and integrators across the whole BluOS ecosystem of products. BluOS expands access to three new natively-integrated music streaming services, exclusive access to Radio Paradise MQA-encoded audio streams and various performance improvements.

The famous audio equipment brand from Cambridge, Massachusetts, Acoustic Research (now part of Voxx International) released a new portable high-resolution audio (HRA) digital player. The new M20 Hi-Res DAP is slimmer and lighter than the brand’s previous flagship model, the AR-M2, and is even more affordable, with 32GB of internal storage and expansion using Micro SDXC cards (up to 256GB). Essentially, the new M20 focuses on the quality of its audio circuits and DAC, offering a “less is more” approach.

For NAD Electronics, the 2016 High End show, in Munich, Germany was all about the excitement of high-performance and high resolution audio. Complementing the five existing Master Series components, NAD announced two new additions, the M32 Direct Digital Amplifier and M50.2 Digital Music Player, both running the brand’s dedicated BluOS operating system with support for popular music services and High Resolution Audio.

Pioneer Home Entertainment USA announced two new Pioneer Elite home theater receivers that will meet the needs of custom installers, and two new consumer home theater receivers. All models feature HDCP 2.2 compliance, HDMI 2.0, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, DSD file playback and more. The 7.2 models are able to decode and play back Dolby Atmos content.
