PSI Audio Introduces New AVAA C214 Active Bass Absorber

PSI Audio introduced the AVAA C214, a new active bass trap that evolves from its sibling, the C20. The new AVAA C214 active bass trap eliminates room modes from 15Hz to 160Hz without requiring calibration or tuning, while offering a more efficient form-factor for listening spaces due to the use of digital technology and smaller membranes. Easier to move and readjust when conditions in the room change, the AVAA C214 is the next evolutionary step for the company.

Swiss manufacturer PSI Audio announced a new version of its flagship three-way speaker A25-M for 2021. Following on the improvements announced in 2019 with the flow guide introduced in the A23-M monitor, and a larger, more powerful woofer engine, the A25-M boasts an entirely new midrange driver. The Extended Dome Driver (EXD) combines a larger dome and new cone formula, effectively offering the best of both worlds in the process. The new driver system is still mounted to a rotatable baffle to enable vertical or horizontal speaker placement at optimum dispersion.

Following prior demonstrations in prototype stage, Swiss speaker manufacturer PSI Audio has confirmed it will introduce officially the Héritage3, the company's first home entertainment speaker, during the High End Munich show. Visitors to the the High End and Axpona shows in 2018 have already experienced a glimpse of the company's purposely designed hi-fidelity speaker, based on the technological prowess and expertise of more than 40 years of developing professional speakers and studio monitors.

PSI Audio introduced its new A23-M active three-way studio monitor at the NAMM Show 2019. The speaker features a new midrange driver developed and manufactured in the company’s Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland headquarters. And like everything else PSI Audio does, the intent is to achieve the most accurate acoustic reproduction. The baffle with tweeter and midrange driver can be rotated to optimize the speaker’s setup for horizontal or vertical positioning. Combining the new driver with proprietary PSI Audio technologies and Class G/H amplifiers, the A23-M transcends the border between nearfield and midfield speakers.
