Siemens and Instrumental Share a Vision of How AI Can Transform Manufacturing

Instrumental, a leading AI-powered manufacturing quality platform known to support many audio companies, announced an official collaboration with Siemens through the Siemens Dynamo program, an open innovation platform for start-up companies working with Siemens, its customers and partners. The program is focused on innovation in areas such as digital twins, automation, artificial intelligence, and supply chain.

Danish measurement microphone specialists GRAS Sound & Vibration, now a part of Axiometrix Solutions, announced two new microphones with SysCheck2 functionality allowing for remote-controlled health check of an entire measurement chain. The new microphones are the GRAS 246AE 1/2" CCP Free-field Standard SysCheck2 Microphone Set, and the GRAS 246AO 1/2" CCP Pressure Standard SysCheck2 Microphone Set, both featuring self-verification.

With IFA fully occupying two exhibition areas, Europe's giant trade show for Consumer and Home Electronics was indeed a busy time for all technology companies and certainly for many of the key development platform vendors. Audio Precision announced support for multichannel audio performance testing of A2B systems and components in collaboration with Mentor, a Siemens business. The new software release for APx500 audio analyzers, supports connectivity with Mentor’s A2B Analyzer to deliver closed-loop, multichannel A2B audio testing. Following a technology demonstration at the AES 2017 International Conference on Automotive Audio in San Francisco, the solution is now available.
