Lavoce Unveils New High-Output Woofers for Multi-Way Systems

Lavoce Italiana, the transducer company with a heritage of over 35 years designing and manufacturing high performance HF and LF loudspeaker transducers is starting 2024 in full force with several new speaker drivers expanding its already considerable professional audio and MI catalog. Unveiled just before ISE 2024, where they will make their debut, are three new Lavoce high-output woofers in 8", 13.5" and 15" sizes.

Italian pro audio loudspeaker specialists FaitalPRO have announced the new FE300 series of ferrite magnet low frequency drivers, designed and built in direct response to high-volume sound reinforcement applications, requiring an evolved and more powerful series of products which would enhance the companies successful FE200 series. Building on the concept FaitalPRO designed four new woofers, all equipped with a powerful ferrite magnet assembly and a stamped steel basket in keeping with the key characteristics of the FE series.

This edition of Voice Coil Test Bench characterizes the 6.5” 6MBX44 driver, from Italian pro sound OEM, B&C Speakers. The new MBX series of pro sound mid-bass woofers is especially well suited for small two-way loudspeaker applications. Features for the 6MBX44 include a proprietary four twin spoke cast-aluminum frame, enhanced voice coil cooling, curvilinear waterproof paper cone and inverted paper dust cap, and a neodymium ring magnet.
