PreSonus has a great tradition of offering home-studio bundles, combining its affordable but robust recording audio interfaces with great software. Now PreSonus announced the AudioBox Studio Ultimate Bundle, where the core of the package is the AudioBox USB 96 audio/MIDI interface and award-winning Studio One recording and production software, bundled with a pair of PreSonus’ best-selling Eris E3.5 Active Media Reference Monitors and HD7 headphones, together with a all-purpose condenser mic ideal for guitar and vocals, all cables and a desktop mic stand.

With this PreSonus AudioBox Studio Ultimate Bundle, retailing for $299.95 USD, anyone will be able to create industry-standard 24-bit/96kHz recordings. The ultra-mobile AudioBox USB 96 USB 2.0 audio/MIDI interface is a great choice for mobile musicians, guitarists, and podcasters. The 2-in, 2-out AudioBox USB 96 is bus-powered, compact, ruggedly built, and works with virtually any PC or Mac recording software. It boasts two combo mic/instrument inputs with high-performance Class A mic preamplifiers, MIDI I/O, and professional-quality, 24-bit, 96 kHz converters.

Incredibly easy to learn and use, the included PreSonus Studio One 4 Artist production software for Mac and Windows allows users to create any type of project and take it to a finished master. Studio One instantly configures to the AudioBox USB 96 interface and offers features rarely found in entry-level DAWs, including powerful drag-and-drop functionality; unlimited audio tracks, MIDI tracks, virtual instruments, buses, and FX channels; including 25 built-in effects and virtual instrument plug-ins. Included in the package is also the Studio Magic Plug-in Suite, a cherry-picked collection from the leading names in virtual instruments and effects.

And because a microphone is an essential tool in any production, PreSonus included a versatile choice, with the PreSonus M7 professional studio microphone. Its large-diaphragm condenser design makes it perfect for recording a wide range of sources including voice, acoustic guitar, percussion, and more. And after learning to explore everything this microphone is able to do, users will certainly feel inspired to start exploring other choices of professional microphones and preamp combinations.

To actually listen to the results, the new PreSonus set includes a pair of Eris E3.5 active monitor speakers, which deliver studio-quality sound yet are compact enough to fit almost anywhere. Users get the flexibility of rear-panel, 1/4" TRS and RCA inputs; front-panel 1/8" stereo, unbalanced line inputs for use with mobile audio devices; a convenient front-panel volume control; and an integrated headphone amplifier. To compensate for any type of environment, particularly in small rooms, users will be able to fine-adjust the speaker’s response with low- and high-frequency tuning controls. These reference monitors may be small but they play loud, as well as clear, thanks to a built-in 25W/side Class AB power amp. Again, not a bad piece of gear to learn to work with.

And because no studio would be complete without quality headphones, PreSonus included its high-definition HD7 headphones, using a patented, semi-open sound chamber to deliver exceptionally deep low frequencies with a balanced and yet powerful bass punch. Accurate midrange and extended treble response allow users to pick out the fine details of a mix or track, and the HD7’s lightweight, ergonomic design adjusts to any head size for a comfortable listening experience.

The PreSonus AudioBox Studio Ultimate Bundle is available now at a street price of $299.95 USD.
