Control surfaces are never enough and Studiologic, the famous Italian manufacturer of digital musical instruments, master keyboards and MIDI Controllers offers one of the most compact and versatile solutions. The SL MixFace is a complete by using Bluetooth and USB portable controller device with a powerful engine, able to auto-map any of the main DAWs. Announced at Musikmesse 2018 and now shipping all over the world, the Studiologic SL MixFace will be in Anaheim, California, for the Winter NAMM Show.

A complete MIDI and DAW Controller device, fully programmable for software and hardware instruments, designed with the user in mind, the SL MixFace is a uniquely versatile tool. Designed for mobility, the unit can be battery powered or bus-powered via USB. The SL MixFace is able to HOST any compatible keyboard to transform it into a full 4 Zones MIDI controller and its connectivity ports enable it to communicate with the computer and other devices by using Bluetooth and USB simultaneously.

The surface of the SL MixFace features nine faders, eight tracks and one master, with dedicated, per-track knobs and buttons. The usability of the controller is further enhanced by the DAW/CTRL button, which allows users to seamlessly switch the control from the DAW environment to their instrument and vice versa, all reflected on the onboard OLED screen. TRANSPORT functions are always ready to go, while users can edit any sound parameter of the instrument or mix the tracks of their song.

The SL MixFace complements the existing Studiologic SL Controller line, expanding its control capability. Magnetically it is able to attach to the surface of the SL, or another system, creating a natural physical control extension. Once the MixFace is plugged into an SL keyboard it automatically takes control of all four layers instantaneously.

Attendees of Winter NAMM will be able to see the SL MixFace in the American Music & Sound (AM&S) booth #11110 in the main hall.
