Demonstrated at NAB 2017 (April 22–27), the Axia Livewire+ AES67 IP-Audio Driver is available now as a free download. The Axia Livewire+ AES67 IP-Audio Driver lets send and record single or multiple channels of stereo PC audio directly to and from Axia networks via Ethernet — no sound cards needed.

Ferrofish Introduces VERTO, Pulse16 and A32 DANTE Converters at Prolight+Sound 2017

Ferrofish is presenting three new products at Prolight+Sound 2017 in Frankfurt (April 4-7). The German manufacturer is introducing its new Pulse 16 converter, which offers 16 analog inputs and outputs and just as many ADAT channels. Likewise entirely new are the three units of the VERTO series. These are format converters that make possible an integration of MADI or ADAT equipment into a Dante network. In addition, for such networks, Ferrofish is showing the A32 DANTE, a variant of its popular A32 converter.

Yamaha TF Series Digital Mixers Get Firmware Update for AES67 Support

Yamaha released a major firmware update for the company’s TF series digital mixers, bringing with it significantly expanded audio networking capability. The firmware update — version 3.1 — allows TF consoles and the recently released TF-RACK equipped with an NY64-D Dante interface card to connect to audio networks, such as Ravenna, that support the AES67 audio-over-IP interoperability standard.
