QSC Celebrates 50 Years and Major Product Milestones at NAMM 2018

From its humble beginnings as the maker of garage-made guitar amplifiers to today’s leading brand of professional AV for live sound, cinema and corporate installations worldwide, QSC has good reasons to celebrate reaching its 50th anniversary. During NAMM 2018 the QSC founders were honored with a NAMM Milestone Award for 50 Years of Service in the music products industry. The company also celebrated the achievement of one million K Series loudspeakers sold, and introduced new products.

During the 2016 ALMA International Symposium and Expo, QSC co-founder Patrick Quilter received the Beryllium Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his significant contributions to the loudspeaker industry. Pat Quilter joins a prestigious list of past recipients including Ed Dell, Don Keele, Andy Kotsatos, Floyd Toole, Laurie Fincham, Matthew Polk, Edgar Villchur, Paul Klipsch, Vance Dickason, Amar G Bose, and Richard Small.

Recognized for over 40 Years of amplifier and loudspeaker innovations, QSC founder and current CEO of Quilter Labs, Pat Quilter will be the 2015 recipient of the Parnelli Audio Innovator Award. The 2015 Parnelli Awards will be held on Oct. 24 at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas.
