Bowers & Wilkins Announces Second Generation Pi7 and Pi5 True Wireless Earbuds

The original Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 & Pi5 noise cancelling earbuds, launched in April 2021, marked the British audio brand’s first entry into the true wireless category. Trying to redefine audio quality in the form-factor, apparently the company decided the brand's goals could be improved and introduced two new upgraded models, the Pi7 S2 and Pi5 S2. Replacing the first-generation models, the two new designs reaffirm their ambition to be "the best-sounding True Wireless earbuds".

Bowers & Wilkins launched its new flagship wireless headphones, featuring all-new drivers with ultra-high-resolution carbon cones – angled within each earcup – that deliver lower distortion and better resolution for reference-quality audio. New luxurious materials include diecast aluminum arms, diamond-cut bright metal detailing and Nappa leather trim available in tan or black finishes. The Bowers & Wilkins Music App was also upgraded to include direct music streaming for headphones – a breakthrough in user experience.

Bowers & Wilkins, the renowned British hifi audio brand, launched the new Px7 S2 active noise cancelling wireless headphones, an updated design that reflects advancements achieved over the past two years in the category. Leveraging the most advanced Qualcomm Bluetooth 5.0 platform with aptX Adaptive, the Px7 S2 adds all new drivers fine-tuned for high-resolution audio, in a refined design that is lower in weight and even more comfortable.

Bowers & Wilkins launched a state-of-the art soundbar. The Panorama 3 was designed to get the most from the latest immersive or spatial audio content, offering an all-in-one elegant loudspeaker solution with room-filling sound for films, TV shows, games, and even music. As a single ultra-low-profile and easy-to-use component with built-in Dolby Atmos, the soundbar expands when paired with the Bowers & Wilkins Music App, ensuring high-resolution music streaming from a wide range of services.

Bowers & Wilkins has re-imagined the Zeppelin for the streaming age. First introduced in 2007 as the ultimate iPod dock, the B&W Zeppelin is reborn in 2021 better sounding and smarter, with a streamlined design that pays tribute to the original. With a redesigned core now supporting updated wireless streaming protocols, the Zeppelin now also offers a more detailed and dynamic sound, that will fit high-resolution audio sources.

Following the introduction of the Formation Suite of wireless home audio products, Bowers & Wilkins introduced a new full-range standalone model to the family, more in-line with the design of the rest of the series. The new Formation Flex extends the wireless capabilities of the high resolution streaming Formation series, offering what the company states to be the “highest quality sound ever found in a standalone wireless speaker of its size.”
