Atlantic Technology Unveils First True Wireless Earbuds

Atlantic Technology's first foray into the competitive true wireless stereo market is an interesting case study. The Massachusetts-based audio company known for its stereo and home theater speakers, and custom audio installation systems, has brought to market the TWS-1 Total Wireless Earbuds, an interesting premium product with ANC, advanced performance and convenience features, including an app to optimize the sound profile to the user’s hearing.

Many high-end audio manufacturers offer embedded technologies in specific products, such as amplifiers and wireless speakers, that users quickly learn become obsolete sooner of later. As a leading brand in prestigious home entertainment and ultimate-quality audio for over 70 years, McIntosh Laboratory understands that some things are better kept separate. The McIntosh MB20 Bluetooth Transceiver was designed in that spirit. It will also be obsolete eventually, but at a suggested retail price of US $500, that's OK.
