Bryston New BR-20 Preamplifier, DAC and Streamer, Even Handles DSD over HDMI

Bryston has unveiled its new BR-20 preamplifier, the most advanced combination of analog and digital functionality in the 50-plus year history of the Bryston brand. The BR-20 combines a brand new, highly advanced analog preamplifier with the company’s flagship digital-to-analog conversion (DAC) platform and a high-performance streaming music player to create an ultimate performance hub for any music enthusiast. The Bryston BR-20 is expected to ship to dealers Q4, 2020 with a US MSRP of $5995.

British audio brand Q Acoustics announced the Q Active 200 bookshelf speakers, its first active design, soon to be complemented with the Q Active 400 tower speakers. The Q Active series are the result of the company’s 14-year heritage and expertise in speaker design, in an effort to offer the ultimate combination of convenience, style, sound-quality, and value for money. To achieve those goals, the speakers feature two Balanced Mode Radiator (BMR) drivers from Tectonic Audio Labs, with its wide directivity output, and controlled modal behavior.
