New Global Power Amplifier Market Analysis by Futuresource

Driven by consumer demand for bigger and better audio-visual experiences, the power amp market is on track to achieve a worldwide value of $785 million in 2020, according to a new industry report from Futuresource Consulting. A range of six modules enables both constant voltage (100/70 V) and low impedance output mode operation and a wide range power configurations; for half rack 1RU to full 19” 2RU form factors.

German professional audio equipment manufacturer d&b audiotechnik GmbH announced that Ardian, an independent private investment company, is acquiring the company from previous owners, investment companies Odewald & Compagnie and COBEPA. The move intends to support d&b audiotechnik’s international growth strategy as defined by existing management, which also gets a stake in the company.
