Josh.ai and Steinway Lyngdorf Introduce Luxury Home Entertainment Experience

Josh.ai continues to deliver on its vision to expand the power of artificial intelligence in the home, now establishing a partnership with Steinway Lyngdorf, a leading brand in luxury audio. Steinway Lyngdorf high-end stereo and surround sound systems will support the Josh.ai platform to control media content for immersive user experiences. The integration enables the convenience of Josh.ai’s natural voice control and privacy-focused approach to home automation to fit into the design of the most refined residential projects.

CEDIA Expo is the annual show created by and for the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA), founded 20 years ago to advocate home technology, promoting training/certification, business, and the industry in general. The event was held September 4-8, 2018 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA. Nora Wong and Mike Klasco report from the show floor.

Launched during CEDIA 2017 and already considered as Best New Product (CEDIA 2017 Awards), the Josh Micro is a new hardware programable controller that runs the Josh.ai software, combines a breakthrough far-field microphone for hands-free voice control and more. As the company states, Josh Micro is a new platform for the smart home, designed to be developer friendly and community-based, making its capabilities widely accessible to other developers.
