Audinate Confirms Dante AV Product Design Suite for Dante AV Available to Manufacturers

Audinate, the company behind the industry-leading Dante audio networking technology, announced that the new Dante AV Product Design Suite (“Dante AV PDS”), a complete development kit solution, will be shipping in Q1 2020 to manufacturers who have ordered. This will allow even more companies to develop new AV-over-IP products that employ Dante AV technology, which combines a video signal with uncompressed Dante audio.

Announced early in 2019, and already receiving extensive industry support, the all-new Dante AV module adds video capabilities to any Dante network, allowing unified control and tight synchronization of AV signals over standard IP networks. Now, Audinate announced that the new Dante AV Module and the Dante AV Product Design Suite are commercially available for order by manufacturers.

Yamaha Corporation has adopted Audinate's Dante AV Product Design suite for integrated AV over IP audio/video technology, and has begun the development of a new suite of products targeted at the Pro AV market. Based on Audinate’s recently-announced Dante AV technology, initial Yamaha AV products will centre around applications requiring the need to breakout and distribute audio and video signals, while maintaining tight synchronisation throughout the facility or venue.
