Mobius Labs Showcases AI-based Visual DNA Solution with Transcripts in 30 Languages and English Translation

Mobius Labs, a developer of Artificial Intelligence-powered metadata technology, will demonstrate at NAB 2023 the latest version of Visual DNA, the company’s unique metadata generation solution. Attendees to the Las Vegas show will also see a new suite of complementary audio tools with state-of-the-art speech-to-text and English translation capabilities, which combined can be used to improve asset management and increase the value of an organization’s content.

COMSOL announced a major update to the COMSOL Multiphysics software version 6.0. The update builds out the Model Manager server with a web interface, adding an asset management system to make it easier for COMSOL users to manage models, simulation apps, and supplementary auxiliary files. The new COMSOL Model Manager interface combines all elements of product and process design to facilitate collaboration.

The global pandemic accelerated the adoption of remote production and collaboration. Now, Frame.io, a leading video review and approval platform, released its Frame.io Camera to Cloud (C2C) solution that changes the traditionally linear filmmaking process, allowing both on-set production and remote post-production teams to work together at the same time. Sound Devices is one of the companies supporting the announcement, allowing audio recorded on set or on the field to be directly transferred to the cloud.

The IBC show is always an important event to remind us of some key perspectives having to do with audio technology, content production, and distribution, which are at the core of our interests. Just like music is now predominantly available on streaming services, radio and television content are now being distributed over the Internet, while movies and lots of other content is available directly to all of us in multiple platforms and services.
