MISCO names Cobi Stein as VP of Marketing

Loudspeaker manufacturer MISCO hired industry veteran Cobi Stein as Vice President of Marketing for its branded and custom OEM divisions, including their Oaktron, Bold North Audio, Red Line, and ToneSpeak brands. Stein served as Director of Marketing and Artist Relations for Eminence Speaker for nine years, and also served to manage sales and distribution during his tenure.

Audio Research (ARC) announce important updates to its highest-performance tube phono stage, the Reference Phono 3 Phono Preamplifier with the launch of the Reference Phono 3SE. Following the launch of the recent Reference (REF) 6SE Line-Stage Preamplifier, ARC’s 50th Anniversary product line continues with a special edition update of the Ref Phono 3 Preamplifier. The REF Phono 3SE ($17,000 USD) replaces the REF Phono 3, introduced in 2016.

For this Test Bench, Vance Dickason actually had lots of fun characterizing a new version of a legendary 6.5” woofer recently announced by MISCO (Minneapolis Speaker Company). The new MS-10W, will be marketed under the new MISCO brand, Bold North Audio, and it is effectively a direct replacement for the famous white driver on Yamaha’s NS10 studio monitors!
