Owl Labs Launches Meeting Owl 3 and Expansion Mic with Enhanced Owl Intelligence System Software

Owl Labs was the first company to build AI-powered, 360-degree video conferencing solutions, which worked but initially struggled to do everything well. With the Meeting Owl Pro, the Boston-based company managed to improve the whole concept and the experience. Now, Owl Labs announced the launch of its Meeting Owl 3 camera device, new Expansion Mic, and enhanced Owl Intelligence System (OIS) software.

Sensory announced new capabilities for TrulyHandsfree, the company’s widely-deployed wake word engine for voice assistants, adding support for multiple wake words from any combination of leading platforms, custom branded wake words, small vocabulary command sets or even user defined wake words where the end user can create their own phrase. This technology supports Amazon's Voice Interoperability Initiative (VII) announced in September 2019.

Dayton Audio announced its WFA400 4-Zone Wi-Fi Audio Receiver is now able to support wireless, whole-home, multi-room and multi-user streaming thanks to its integration with the new Hi-Fly app for iOS and Android. With the new mobile app integration, the WFA400 provides total control over a whole home audio system right from the user's phone or tablet. And the new Dayton Audio Hi-Fly App turns any mobile device into a fully-featured remote control for all Dayton Audio Hi-Fly enabled devices.
