DirectOut Adds Enhanced Automatic Redundancy Switching to EXBOX.MD Dante Interface

DirectOut Technologies has significantly expanded the capabilities of its recently released EXBOX.MD Dante/MADI interface, with a major firmware and software update. The German networking and pro audio specialist company previewed the updated EXBOX.MD at the AES Milan 2018 Convention, demonstrating it to be one of the most flexible Dante bridges presently on the market.

With many studios and professional audio companies embracing Dante audio networking solutions, digital connectivity becomes a simple, versatile, and reliable process. Responding to that trend, TASCAM has unveiled two innovative new additions to their line of Dante-enabled offerings. Designed to provide powerful and flexible connectivity between analog and digital components, the TASCAM ML-32D and ML-16D are multichannel Line Level to Dante and Dante to Line Level interfaces.

Announced in September 2014, Sennheiser now confirms the availability of its Dante card for the EM 9046 receiver, enabling the top-of-the-range Digital 9000 wireless microphone system to be integrated into Dante audio-over-IP networks. Sennheiser also updated its Digital 9000 firmware and the new Wireless Systems Manager 4.2 software with a set of optimized monitoring functions.
