Celestion Debuts F12M-150 Compact, Value Priced Speaker Designed for Use with Amp Modeling

Among the products unveiled at the virtual NAMM 2021 show, Celestion announced the F12M-150 Triple Cone, a new compact, value priced guitar speaker designed from the ground up for use with the new generation of profiling amps, modeling software, impulse responses, and all the available technology for emulating the most coveted guitar amps and speaker cabinets. This is a challenge that Celestion is taking seriously, allowing the accurate full-range response of favorite amplifier and cabinet tone emulations.

Eminence Speakers launched the digital version of its legendary guitar speakers — Eminence Impulse Response (IR) library — developed in conjunction with the highly respected amplifier profiler and guitarist, Michael Britt. This announcement follows the trend from guitar speaker manufacturers to release official IR files of its own best-selling models to support the growing trend of amplifier profilers and emulators, as well as studio production.

For nearly two decades, Kemper GmbH developed and perfected the Kemper Profiler, an hardware unit that quickly became a leading-edge digital guitar amplifier and all-in-one effects processor using the company's patented technology, which is able to model the exact sound and behavior of any guitar amp and all its control variations. Now, the company added a critical missing link: the Kemper Kabinet and Kone guitar cabinet and driver.

Celestion, the famous British manufacturer of guitar and bass loudspeakers and professional audio drivers for sound reinforcement applications, announced the availability of the F12-X200 loudspeaker, the first guitar speaker designed specifically for use with profiling amps, modeling software, impulse responses, and all technology for emulating the tones from coveted guitar amps and speaker cabinets.
