Schertler Expands ARTHUR Modular Mixer with Three New Modules

Schertler Group has released three new modules for ARTHUR, its Format 48 modular mixer that users can configure and build themselves, offering extremely high quality, with all circuits built using single, discrete Class-A electronic components and pure high-voltage DC-amps. The new Multiple In, Subgroup and Spring (reverb) modules have been designed for seamless integration into the existing range of input and output units, offering greater flexibility and more efficient workflow.

Roy and Teddy are the chosen names for the new flagship combo and compact stage monitor added to the Swiss manufacturer’s expanding portfolio. This year’s Frankfurt Musikmesse and Prolight+Sound shows provide the ideal launchpad for these Schertler Group’s latest products. The first, designed for all amplification needs of acoustic instruments. The second, a new and very attractive take on one of the most important tools for musicians' performance on stage.

Introduced at the 2016 Musikmesse show in Frankfurt, Schertler’s ARTHUR mixer created real excitement for the concept of a new self-configurable, modular audio mixer. Given the Swiss manufacturer’s reputation in instrument amplification and its recent expansion into the pro audio market with 500 series modules, the release of the ARTHUR (Format48) modular mixer promises to be an interesting initiative.
