Warkwyn Adds CESVA’s Acoustic Instrumentation to Its Lineup

Loudspeaker engineering consulting firm Warkwyn is now offering the complete lineup of acoustic and electroacoustic instrumentation from CESVA in the US. The Barcelona-based company offers a complete line of sound level meters and spectral analyzers for advanced measurements, amplifiers and instrumentation for measuring and assessing sound insulation, long term and permanent noise monitoring solutions, as well as logger-limiters.

With a range of significant improvements, the latest version of Steinberg’s state-of-the-art spectral editing software - SpectraLayers Pro 9 and SpectraLayers Elements 9 - allows spectral audio processing to be heard in real time, making the audio editing workflow faster and more accurate than ever. Sounds are displayed as visual objects and layers, enabling ultra-precise editing for any application, including music and post-production, sound design, audio restoration and much more.

RME released a new firmware for their ADI-2 Pro series, including ADI-2 Pro AE and FS. The ADI-2 Pro is a measurement quality AD/DA converter, a high-end DAC, and an unbelievably clean and powerful headphone amp. Based on sample rates up to 768kHz and DSD256 playback and recording, up to 6 input and 8 output channels of mixed digital and analog domain, and a powerful DSP providing a multitude of audio processing functions, the unit has been extremely successful and is still growing in popularity.
