Madison Square Garden Acquires Holoplot Through Sphere Entertainment

Madison Square Garden (MSG) Company, a partner and shareholder of Holoplot GmbH, acquired all of the remaining shares it did not previously own, through Sphere Entertainment. MSG made its first investment into Holoplot in 2018 when the two companies partnered to implement the sound system that equipped the Sphere entertainment venue in Las Vegas. The Berlin-based Wavefield Synthesis and 3D audio pioneer will continue to operate as a separate company after the acquisition.
