InfoComm 2019 will be held June 8-14 (exhibits June 12-14) at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. InfoComm is now consolidated has the largest pro-AV show in North America, representing every facet of audiovisual technology with 44,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors expected for the 2019 edition. From the largest professional audio expo, largest digital signage expo, largest collaborative conferencing expo, plus the hottest products, emerging trends and top-notch professional development, all is ready for another exciting edition.

When The Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA) lowered the curtain on its 2018 InfoComm show in Las Vegas, NV, the trade show had attracted nearly 43,000 registered attendees, coming from all 50 United States and 108 countries; 20 percent of attendees were from outside the U.S. The show's 964 exhibitors anchored a massive expo that spanned 550,000 net square feet of exhibits, demo rooms, and special events space, making it the biggest InfoComm ever. And in a sign of enthusiastic support from InfoComm exhibitors, 94 percent of the 2019 edition in Orlando was immediately rebooked, a new record.

InfoComm 2019 - the conference itself happens June 8-14, with the exhibits opening June 12-14 - will add new exciting topics for discussion and brand new themed areas. The event kicks-off with the traditional Opening Reception on Tuesday, June 11 from 7 to 9:00 p.m. at the B.B. King Blues Club, sponsored by Samsung, Blackmagic Design and Crestron. Wednesday, June 12, there's the Tech Managers Forum and Reception, and the next day there's also the Live Events Forum and Reception. Both events take place at the Orange County Convention Center.

As the most important show in North America for professional audio, unified communications and collaboration, display, video, control, digital signage, building automation, security, and live events, there are conference tracks and specific events targeting every single one of those applications, always on the perspective of installation and systems integration. The 2019 edition will explore the fast-growing markets for audiovisual solutions in hospitality and retail. The show will host more than 30 education sessions focused on the ways that companies in hospitality and retail and the AV solution providers that serve them are using AV technologies to bring efficiency, entertainment, and personalization to the customer experience.

The global market for pro-AV products and services in retail is forecast to reach $20.3 billion in 2019 and grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.5 percent through 2023, according to the AVIXA Industry Outlook and Trends Analysis (IOTA) report. The hospitality market is also surging, with a forecast of $7.5 billion for 2019 and growth of 6 percent CAGR through 2023.

To develop this new education program, AVIXA, producer of the InfoComm show, has partnered with VMSD (Visual Merchandising and Store Design), a media platform that provides resources for retailers, including design ideas, merchandising strategies, and its annual International Retail Design Conference (IRDC).

The hospitality program at InfoComm 2019 will explore how the market is implementing light, music, and technology to enhance guests’ connection to a space. Attendees will learn how circadian lighting in hotels improves wellness, such as reducing jet lag and stress. Another session will investigate how to strike the right balance between technology and a personalized guest experience at hotels. For example, when do guests prefer the efficiency of a kiosk to interaction with a hotel team member?

InfoComm offers a seminar and workshop package, which includes unlimited access to more than 200 sessions, including the hospitality and retail sessions. Pricing is $339 for AVIXA Elite Members, $389 for Premium Members, $449 for Basic Members, and $539 for non-members and onsite registration. Visit infocommshow.org for an updated listing of all the seminars and workshops.

And don't forget, just prior to the InfoComm exhibition (June 9–10), The Association of Loudspeaker Manufacturing & Acoustics (ALMA) International is holding its ALMA International Symposium & Expo (AISE) in affiliation with InfoComm. For anyone involved in the speaker industry in general, and for all audio developers, this is a unique event, not to be missed.

Established in 1939, AVIXA has more than 5,400 members, including manufacturers, systems integrators, dealers and distributors, consultants, programmers, live events companies, technology managers, content producers, and multimedia professionals from more than 80 countries. AVIXA is a hub for professional collaboration, information, and community, and the leading resource for AV standards, certification, training, market intelligence, and thought leadership.
