Audio Industry Pioneer Dr. Jörg Sennheiser to Deliver Heyser Memorial Lecture at AES Berlin Convention

The Audio Engineering Society has announced that audio industry pioneer Dr. Jörg Sennheiser will deliver the presentation titled “A Historic Journey in Audio-Reality: From Mono to AMBEO” for the 142nd AES International Convention’s Heyser Memorial Lecture on Sunday, May 21 at 6:30pm. The AES Berlin Convention takes place May 20 to 23, 2017, at the Maritim Hotel in Berlin, Germany.

This year, Sennheiser is celebrating its 70th anniversary and 70 years of innovation in “The Pursuit of Perfect Sound”, as its slogan goes. Here’s a short reminder of the company’s history. Having recently turned 70 years old, Prof. Dr. Jörg Sennheiser is handing over the chair of the supervisory board of Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co. KG to Dr. Frank Heinricht, as of January 1st, 2015. Frank Heinricht became a member of the supervisory board of Sennheiser five years ago. The company is now fully into the hands of Daniel and Andreas Sennheiser.
