AuviTran Integrates Merging’s ZMAN AoIP Module Into New Interface Card

France-based audio manufacturer AuviTran has adopted Merging Technologies’ ZMAN audio networking module into its brand-new AxC-AES67 interface card, part of its flagship Audio ToolBox Suite. Bringing low-latency and bridging capacities to high performance applications, the AxC-AES67 interface card is fully compatible with AES67 and Ravenna protocols, and supports industry standard SMPTE2110, ST2022-7 Seamless Protection Switching and NMOS IS-04 + IS-05.

The rapid adoption of Audio-over-IP (AoIP) unveiled the need for innovative monitoring tools to make sure that streams are arriving safely. UK company, Nixer Pro Audio, has been providing solutions since 2017, and already offers an impressive range of Dante monitoring tools. However, rather quickly the company received requests for high channel count solutions supporting Ravenna too. Nixer met the challenge by implementing Merging's ZMAN, which is pin compatible with the Audinate Brooklyn 2 board.

At High End Munich 2017, Merging Technologies will promote RAVENNA as the connection standard for high end audio, promoting drivers that can be adopted by other devices, and introducing ZMan, a new OEM RAVENNA circuit board for audio components as diverse as loudspeakers, DACs and server/streamers.
